Roberta France, is known by most for making music of all kinds. Whether that be Indie/Pop/Jazz or Latin she makes the most of her exciting and versatile skillset.
Her latest release entitled “Dreams” is six track EP that offers all of Roberta’s signature style but also some enticing new numbers. Backed by some Jazz vibes instrumentals the opener “Together We Will Shine” is an uplifting track that displays the artists smooth transitional head voice and writing talents.
“Ancora” is a heartfelt acoustic number with strong conviction displayed by Roberta’s lead vocals. Following track `”Otros Ojos” is a Latin Spanish classic, coated in suave sensuality and silky Jazz backing. “Dreams” takes a more sombre, reflective approach whilst “Lockdown” is a quirky fun fast paced track, that has a wonderful Big Band feel. The EP closer “Simple Woman” is a standout ballad that defines the statement of saving the best until last.
Overall Roberta has created a masterful display here, a great project indeed.
