Louise Cappi takes us back in time with a soulful album classic

New Orleans singer and songwriter Louise Cappi is an Internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter. Daughter of the late great

New York jazz guitarist, Al Cappi. Louise has a weekly residency at Mahogany Jazz Hall, in New Orleans. Her music is described by many as humorous, explosive and even

soul-stirring.

Her latest album entitled “Hope” is a heartwarming and emotional driven body of work. Opener “Beautiful Dreams” sets the tone well, with some sincere strings and the artists powerful, haunting Jazz sprinkled vocals.

The entire project feels like a step back in time to the days of real live music, where the modern ways of musical production were gone and live instrumentation was the only way to create records. You can tell the artist has put her heart and soul into this project. Although she is a highly experienced artist, this album feels like some of her best ever work
